Zendaya Debuts a Whole New Look With "Bixie" Haircut

And Margot Robbie got a bob!

Here's what everyone is talking about in the beauty world, broken down in one quick digest by Popsugar Beauty section lead Jessica Harrington. Spring is in the air — and so is the itch for a big chop! If you haven't seen, two Hollywood A-listers debuted a major hair change at Paris Fashion Week this week.  Zendaya showed up at the Louis Vuitton Womenswear show in a "bixie" haircut. The style was a major hit with stars from 2022 to 2024 — Halsey, Taylor Hill, and Emma Corrin, among others, all had the look — but it went on a brief hiatus shortly after that. Now, though, with Zendaya leading the charge, we have a feeling it's going to be big again for spring.  A bixie haircut combines two popular styles: a pixie and a bob. Marrying the two lets you customize the look to fit your face and personal style. Not to mention, if you've never cut your hair shorter than chin-length before, it's a bit less intimidating. The style feels particularly "box" bob to me (granted, Robbie's is a little longer, bringing it into lob territory). The style has blunt ends and piecey bangs that frame her face perfectly.  The cut is "very blunt and choppy, giving the illusion of a boxy, square silhouette with plenty of volume," Nicole Petty, a hair expert at Milk + Blush, tells PS. It's been worn by everyone from Kourtney Kardashian to Lori Harvey, Millie Bobby Brown, and Gabrielle Union.  All of this tells me the time has come for a spring haircut.
