Here's what everyone is talking about in the beauty world, broken down in one quick digest by Popsugar Beauty section lead Jessica Harrington. I've been working on something for months now, and it's finally here: our 2026 Beauty Awards went live yesterday, and I'm in awe of how they turned out. For a little context, our annual beauty awards launched in 2019 as our testing extravaganza. Each year, we celebrate the best products across hair, skin, makeup, nails, body, and fragrance. Now, let me take you behind the scenes at what goes into a program like this. To get our list of finalists, we sort through thousands of submissions and put hundreds upon hundreds of them to the test. Our team of editors across our beauty and shopping verticals spent day after day swatching, lathering, misting, and dabbing their way through the contenders and rating and reviewing each one. Sometimes that means testing a different body lotion on each limb or washing your hair more times than you'd like in a week, all in the name of beauty. Since testing wrapped up, I've been using many of the winners in my everyday routine, because I don't want to put them down — they're that good.
