And just like that, the 2026 awards season has come to an end — at least until September, that is. The Oscars on Sunday rounded up the series of star-studded events. In celebration of such an iconic run, I thought it could be fun to look back at some of the biggest stand-out beauty moments over the last few months. Let's recap, shall we? The overarching theme of the 2026 award season was nostalgia. We saw endless French manicures, chokers, side parts, brown lipstick, and grunge-inspired makeup looks on celebrities. But the 1990s and early 2000s weren't the only decades represented. At the Actor Awards, retro '20s-inspired glam was everywhere. Chase Infiniti wore a stunning crystal headpiece, while Sheryl Lee Ralph and Quinta Brunson rocked "dollop" bangs. |

Two major haircut trends emerged from the Golden Globes. Bob haircuts were seen on Selena Gomez, Ayo Edebiri, Emma Stone, and more, while "chillets" were a popular favorite among men like Jacob Elordi, Glen Powell, Nick Jonas, and Jeremy Allen White, to name just a few. But possibly the most show-stopping look of the entire season came from Chappell Roan. The singer arrived at the Grammys wearing a dress that appeared to be attached to her nipple piercings. As it turns out, prosthetics were used to hold the fabric up and her back was covered in screen-printed temporary tattoos to boot. If ever there was a look that could break the internet, this would be it. And that's only just a sampling. For more award show coverage, keep scrolling. |
