I Tested TikTok's "Red Nail Theory" on a Month of Dates |
I decided to test out something I had been seeing all over TikTok: the red nail theory. If you haven't heard of it, allow me to explain. It's essentially TikTok's claim that red nail polish somehow makes you more attractive to men. I had my reservations: to start, I'm a neutral-nails gal through and through, and though I've had red nails in the past, I couldn't remember any men clamoring to date me when I did. However, TikTok users were firm in their belief that red nails would find me my husband — or at least a boyfriend — so I decided to try it out for a full month. Ahead, I detail how the dates went and whether or not men actually flocked to me while I was sporting red nails. Spoiler alert: my experience might just convince you to try it. |
