In her acceptance speech for best supporting drama actress at the 2025 Emmys, Katherine LaNasa made sure to thank the real-life nurses who inspired her character, Dana Evans, on "The Pitt." As the show has taken off, fans have had questions about how real some of its token scenes are — for instance, nurses getting punched in the nose by patients or getting their cheeks broken on the job.
