Here's what everyone is talking about in the beauty world, broken down in one quick digest by Popsugar Beauty section lead Jessica Harrington. |

"The Life of a Showgirl," last night in a clip from Jason and Travis Kelce's podcast "New Heights." But you likely knew why I was asking. As someone who goes to bed at 10 p.m., I didn't see the news when the video dropped at 12:12 a.m. ET on Aug. 12, but I woke up to everyone talking about it on my various social media feeds — including my work Slack, if you want to call that a social media feed. While I'm excited about the prospect of new music from Swift, I can't deny being equally intrigued by her orangey-peach lipstick in the podcast video. I don't need to tell you that Swift is historically a red-lip lover through and through. She's been wearing the classic shade from the moment she hit the music scene. Really, it only makes sense that Travis's football team, the Kansas City Chiefs, has red as its signature color, too. (The woman knows how to be intentional with her brand.) Over the years, Swift has credited her lipstick shade to a handful of different products. There's MAC Ruby Woo ($23) and, of course, Pat McGrath Labs LiquiLust Legendary Wear Lipstick ($34). But last night, she was wearing something different. It could be Nars Morocco ($18) — a cinnamon hue Swift's worn for years, according to her longtime makeup artist Lorrie Turk — but fans online think it's Rare Beauty's Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil in Joy ($22); the brand's owned by Swift's friend Selena Gomez. Swift's worn lipsticks from Rare before, so it's not a huge stretch. If you're curious about the other lipsticks (and, occasionally, lip glosses) Swift keeps in her rotation, click here. |

| Using a different hot tool to straighten, curl, and blow-dry is so yesterday — multi-stylers are all the rage right now. We tried Shark's latest tool to find out if it's worth the money (and how it stacks up to competitors).

| Bath & Body Works is bringing you "Summerween" with its new 2025 Halloween collection. Oct. 31 may still be a few months away, but it's never too soon to start prepping for fall, in my opinion.

In today's column, contributor Hannah Cassidy tries Skinvive, a hyaluronic acid filler for hydration. |

My skin's predisposed to dryness, so I'm always in search of the next great thing that will quench my complexion's never-ending thirst. It's also sensitive and prone to acne (just call me a triple threat), which makes that hydration trial and error somewhat tricky. So, when celebrity injector and skin educator Vanessa Lee, RN, began documenting her experience with Skinvive, a hyaluronic acid injectable filler that provides a post-facial glow for up to nine months without volume, I devoured every Instagram Stories update — then booked myself an appointment. It's important to remember that this treatment is a slow build of skin hydration and results are subtle compared to the instant gratification of traditional fillers. Though I was told that results wouldn't appear for at least two weeks, I felt a teensy bit more hydrated almost immediately. See the difference in my skin for yourself ahead. — Hannah Cassidy |
