Clocking the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce engagement announcement was like watching the popular kids ask each other to prom. Those photos immediately took me back to high school — and not just because Swift captioned them: "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨." Pretty people finding love will always make me feel some type of way, I guess.
Since the announcement, I've spent the afternoon reminiscing about my own prom-posal — not quite a wedding engagement, but still a momentous occasion. I remember my boyfriend at the time (or were we broken up? I can't remember) scattered rose petals all along the walkway leading up to the front door of my parents' house, even though I had specifically said that cheesy romantic gestures involving rose petals made me cringe so hard I could feel my spleen in my throat. He forged ahead with his plan anyway. I said yes, but clearly it wasn't meant to last. Ah, young love.
For anyone who's prematurely mourning the breakup anthems that will never be, just remember: Swift and Kelce may be saying forever and always, but everyone's got their champagne problems. (Hopefully not them, though . . . !)

In today's featured column, former Popsugar editor Maggie Panos tries the Nailboo dip powder manicure kit. |
I Tried Nailboo's Dip Kit, and It's Worth the Hype |
In its never-ending quest to sell me trendy beauty products, Instagram has been sliding Nailboo into my feed for the better part of a year. The dip powder manicure kit has become wildly popular for two reasons: DIY nails have been on the rise thanks to the popularity of social media sites like TikTok, and the ability to do said nails at home continues to get easier and easier. So, if you've been searching for a detailed review of the Nailboo At-Home Dip Manicure Kit ($99, originally $169), look no further.
After testing it out, I've learned that this is one of the easiest at-home dip kits for beginners (and trust me, I've tried lots of options). Unlike some more advanced kits, Nailboo is made expressly for those who aren't quite sure how to dip at home, or maybe don't know how to dip at all. — Maggie Panos |
