Hi Popsugar newsletter readers. I'm Joanna, and today's newsletter feels like a confession — so I want to thank you up front for being at the receiving end of it. For the past year or two, my husband and I have been sleeping in different beds at night. We haven't talked about this with any of our friends or family members (you're hearing it here first); we've just been sort of tiptoeing around what feels like an erosion of a sacred marital paradigm. But when PS decided to dedicate part of summer to helping people get better sleep, I knew it was time to say it out loud. Sleeping in separate beds at night has significantly improved our marriage. It's not just that we don't have to wake the other one up to stop snoring now; it's that it's opened us up to showing up for each other in ways that don't have to do with nighttime intimacy. Read on for the specifics. You'll be surprised how much more fun shopping at Trader Joe's has gotten. |
