Glambots, dancing robots, and bottle service aren't typical amenities at the gym. But Life Time is different.
As the demand for more meaningful connection manifests in the wellness space, we see the rise of wellness "fourth spaces," such as early-bird dance parties and sober sauna raves. And now, people are . . . partying at the gym (for $900, of course).
"[T]he people-watching is top-tier, as is the poolside fashion (designer swimsuits, star-spangled cowboy hats, and sparkling two-piece sets, to name a few highlights)," writes assistant editor Chandler Plante, who attended Life Time's Fire and Ice bash.
But for most of the attendees, looks aren't everything (despite the Rolls-Royce in the parking lot). "We're a community," one Life Time member told Chandler during the party.
