Ah, Pinterest parents — those crafty, color-coordinated, organized unicorns. You gotta love 'em. (Although, if we're being real, sometimes you might love to hate them.) Other parents are usually more than happy to schedule a playdate with them, knowing there'll be nutritious snacks and creative activities.
We've written a lot about niche parenting styles this year; Pinterest parents are not as relaxed as type C parents but not nearly as traditional as tradwives. The approach gets a thumbs-up from adolescent mental health expert Caroline Fenkel, DSW, who tells PS: "They're the ones who plan ahead, who find joy in crafting family traditions, and who use creativity to build connection." |
