I wasn't sure I could pull off the Adidas Originals x Bad Bunny Ballerina sneakers. I usually go for platform soles to give me a little extra height, but something about the retro shape, bungee laces, and ballet-slipper silhouette had me curious enough to try them. So, I went all in and attempted to recreate Benito's campaign look from head to toe.
I opted for the off-white pair (even though the Bold Gold definitely gets more attention), and they surprised me — not only are they more wearable than I expected, but they actually added a touch of elegance to the low-key, rugged 'fit. The flat sole curves upward at the midfoot, which somehow makes me stop missing the height. Plus, they look equally good with flowy dresses and slouchy, androgynous pieces like I'm wearing here.
I break down all the details in my full review — including how I'm keeping the suede clean from scuffs, and where to shop them now (since they're already sold out on adidas.com). If you've been eyeing them, this might be your sign to go for it.
