Sometimes, the most sensual thing someone can do is make time in their life for you. The idea of blocking off one to two hours for "sexy time" on your calendar, staring back at you like a meeting with a manager, might sound anything but arousing. But for many who practice polyamory, there's pleasure in maintaining an up-to-date calendar with partners they'll be seeing and when. "There is something really sexy about when it goes onto the calendar," one source tells PS. Therapist Lauren Bailey, LCPC, isn't surprised by the concept of calendar kinks. In fact, she recommends scheduling "intimacy days" for couples with different types of desire. Bailey tells PS, "This is a beautiful way I think the poly community has it kind of figured out right." |
