VP Harris has made tangible gains for Black America

Every other year we have an election. And every other year here come the politicians making promises and asking for our votes. It gets old, especially when it feels like the only time they take us seriously or care about our issues is during election season. Make no mistake about it, Kamala Harris is built different! Yes she's a politician, but she has been putting in the work for our communities for years. She got her start fighting to make our communities safer while also building reentry programs and it's never stopped. She has made tangible gains for Black communities. As Vice President, she's helped lead this administration to cap the cost of insulin at $35 a month for seniors. She helped strengthen the Affordable Care Act, nearly doubling Black enrollment. She's helped cut Black child poverty in half. Under the Biden-Harris administration, Black unemployment hit a record low, Black small business startups are growing at the fastest rate in 30 years, and Black wealth is up by 60% compared to pre-pandemic times. And she's just getting started!! If we elect her as our president, she will continue fighting to put more of our paycheck back in our pockets and protect our rights.
