The Author Program Closes on Tuesday, May 7th! ESSENCE® invites you to use our platform to showcase your literary works and expand your audience at the 2019 ESSENCE Festival®! Don't miss this unique opportunity for Black writers! Apply no later than Tuesday, May 7th at 11:59PM EDT. _________________________________ AUTHOR CATEGORIES INDEPENDENT CONSIGNMENT AUTHORS Your book is self-published or published through non-traditional publishing sources that ESSENCE® does not do business with and is available only on a non-returnable basis. You will get a 50/50 revenue share and will be required to submit a one-time $50 consignment fee. AUTHOR SIGNERS You will participate in a 30 minute book signing and your book will be sold in the Shop ESSENCE store. If your book is self-published or published through non-traditional publishing sources that ESSENCE® does not do business with, you will get a 50/50 revenue share and will be required to submit a one-time $150 participation fee.
