More than half of Black women in our country live in a state with a Trump abortion ban (source). 68% of OBGYNs say that the overturning of Roe has worsened their ability to manage pregnancy-related emergencies. Add to that the fact that Black women are three times more likely to die from pregnancy-related complications than white women and you start to see how urgent this next election really is for our communities. |
